How can I sell used books or curriculum to Little Green Schoolhouse Books?

For details on how to sell your used items to us and what types of items we are looking for, visit our “Sell” page, where we have forms to fill out to submit an inquiry. Local sellers can also choose to drop off boxes of curriculum for us to look through and see what we can purchase.


Do you only sell used items?

While most of our stock is used items, we do carry some new books, workbooks, and audiobooks. Use the code 10OFFNEW to get 10% off new items every day! 


You can also purchase new items from MasterBooks and Alpha Omega Press for the same prices as you will find on our their websites. And get free shipping if you spend $25 or more!


How do I search your website?

We have done our best to make our site user-friendly. However, sometimes items need to be spelled out specifically in the search bar as to the correct spelling of title or author. You can also search for items related to a particular subject or curriculum provider by clicking on the different collections listed on our homepage.


If you are searching for an item that you cannot find in our shop, feel free to contact us by email. If we carry the item, we will point you to the listing. If it is not something we currently stock, we may be able to help you find it! 


Do you take donations of curriculum or books?

Absolutely!  If you have curriculum you no longer need and want to send it our way, simply fill out the super-quick form below to let us know we can expect your donation, and then use one of our dropoff locations. 


What happens to the items I donate?

Donated books and curriculum that cannot be listed in our main online store will either be placed in our bargain bins, given to organizations such as Goodwill, or contributed to free tables at sales or conventions. 


Do you have a physical store?  

At this time, our shop exists only online, however we host occasional open houses locally for customers to browse our inventory and chat with us in person.



What is your return policy?

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused or in the same condition that you received it.

Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you have done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at littlegreenSB@gmail.com

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs will not be included in a refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
